DESCRIPTION:The Cornell University Chapter of the NAACP invites our community to come together for a candlelight stand-in remembrance of Nolan Wells on Wednesday, October 28th, at 9:00 PM.\nAs we gather to honor Nolan's life and legacy, we hope to create a space for collective mourning, reflection, healing, and community.\nDuring this time, we encourage everyone to come as they are, whether to share memories, offer words of support, or simply be present in solidarity.\nIn addition to the vigil, we are working to establish a memorial space within Ujamaa where Nolan's memory can continue to be honored. We invite community members to contribute flowers, candles, photographs, handwritten messages, or other meaningful items to help create this tribute.\nInterested in contributing? A shared sign-up form will be available through the link in our bio, where you can see which materials others are bringing and sign up to contribute items that may still be needed.\nContributions are entirely optional, and your presence alone is deeply appreciated.\nIn moments of grief, community matters more than ever. May we continue to show up for one another, hold space for remembrance, and ensure that Nolan's memory remains a part of the community he touched.\n---\nEvent Details: https://cornell.campusgroups.com/rsvp?id=2315636
